Note: EHJC meetings have been suspected for the summer.
The meetings will convene in mid-September after classes have started. Check back for the new meeting schedule.
The EHJC meets once per week to discuss recently published journal articles in the broad field of Earth History. The group tends to focus on the origin of life, the evolution of Earth's climate and geography, and the sensitivity of the Earth-system to physical, chemical and biological perturbations. The group also studies the actual generation of Earth historical records, from initial field work, sedimentology and stratigraphy, to geochronology and geochemical/geophysical proxy records of environmental change.
Our meeting time is planned to be every Tuesday 2-3p in room 214, unless otherwise specified.
