I am a lecturer at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Empirical Studies of Conflict (ESOC) Project at Princeton University. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Rochester’s (NY) Department of Political Science in September 2013.

I specialize in Comparative Political Economy, with a special interest in relationship between democratic institutions, economic development, and political violence. My dissertation examines the causes and dynamics of electoral violence.
