Please join PWiGS this Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 in Guyot 154 for a happy hour roundtable discussion with Dr. Jung-Eun Lee on career and research development issues. All early-career scientists are welcome.
Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at Brown University. Her research interests range from interpreting Antarctic temperatures around 15 Million years ago using stable isotopes to quantifying the degree of water stress for Amazonian trees. She has agreed to speak with us on early-career topics including, but not limited to, strategies for research and career development, mentoring/skill development, grant writing/funding, and time management.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
