Graduate students from the Department of Geosciences at Princeton University are organizing a student-run Computational Geophysics Workshop at Princeton on March 15-16, 2016. The workshop sessions will focus on SPECFEM3D and associated packages, with the goal of teaching new users how to incorporate SPECFEM into their research. We will also organize sessions devoted to the broader topics of parallel computation, data visualization and efficient data formats.

The Workshop is designed to provide a platform young researchers from different universities to share their technical knowledge. In this way, we will help build a network for future collaborations between seismologists.
