Welcome to my website!
My research focuses broadly on applying empirical methods to the study of legal issues and American institutions. My work is interdisciplinary in nature, incorporating elements from law, political science, statistics and history. Thematically, I am interested in studying how political actors influence institutional structure. I seek to explore topics relating to the intersection of institutional design and law. In addition, I work on projects applying network and textual analysis to enhance our understanding of legal and regulatory issues. My work is published or forthcoming in Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, Minnesota Law Review, Boston College Law Review, among others.
