Pierre presents at the 7th Symposium of the Mexican Proteomics Society

Pierre was invited to present his work on spatial-temporal proteomics during virus infections at the 7th Symposium of the Mexican Proteomics Society in Guadalajara, Mexico. His talk was highlighted in the conference program, and (as he's from Mexico) Pierre was able to visit friends and family while near his home.

Catherina named as BD Health Healthcare Careers Scholar and Novartis Science Scholars

Catherina Pan, an undergraduate student in the Cristea lab, received two scholarships from BD Biosciences and Novartis for her commitment to research and a healthcare career. She works on the human immune detection of herpesvirus infections, focusing specifically on the mechanisms of a DNA sensor known as IFI16.

Pranav wins the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence
