Ileana is honored for excellence in graduate student mentorship

At the Princeton graduate school's virtual 2020 commencement, Ileana was publicly recognized for her acheivements and service as a mentor to graduate students at Princeton University. She was one of four faculty members to receive the Graduate Mentoring Awards from the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning. We couldn't agree more - congratulations to our fabulous leader, Ileana!

Cora and Ileana highlight the utility of proteomic technologies in uncovering viral pathologies

Especially relevant with the ungoing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Cora and Ileana's prospective article in the HUPOST forum of the Human Proteome Project discussed key applications of mass spectrometry-based proteomics in revealing the underlying mechanisms of viral pathologies, and how these technologies could be leveraged to combat the pandemic. Laura & Tim are awarded the ASV outstanding student travel awards!

Despite the conference being canceled due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the American Society of Virology still informed Tim and Laura, our graduate students, that their excellent research abstracts were awarded a 15-minute presentation and financial support this year. Asbolutely worth celebrating in the midst of everything going on!

Xinlei, Cora, Laura, and Michelle are slotted to present at US HUPO in Seattle

Xinlei was awarded a 15-minute talk covering his work on virus-host interactions in HCMV infection, while Cora, Laura, and Michelle were selected to present posters and highlight their work in a lightning-talk. Although ultimately canceled due to COVID-19, we honor their accomplishments and can't wait to see their presentations at a future conference!

Laura is awarded the travel award for US HUPO

Laura's abstract on virus-host manipulation of the nuclear lamina spurred her on to receive a travel award, poster, and lightning talk at this year's US HUPO conference in Seattle!

Cora is re-elected as the PTI co-chair!
