Chris is interested in complex adaptive systems and the intersection of evolutionary and economic theory as they relate to social groups. He graduated with distinction from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. His senior thesis used game theory to understand the evolution of "defective" behavior in bacteriophage. Prior to arriving at Princeton, he spent two years as a Science Policy Fellow at the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI), where he conducted data analytics and policy analysis in support of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health.
