Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Demography and Social Policy at Princeton University. I use novel data to explore the relationship between migration and economic development and provide historical perspective on population movements and policies (more details under Research).

I previously worked on a range of migration research and policy initiatives at the Center for Global Development in Washington DC, and maintain this policy engagement as a Research Associate with the Overseas Development Institute's Human Mobility Initiative.

My research is generously supported by the National Science Foundation and the Economic History Association. For more information, please see my CV and Google Scholar page.

In summer 2022 I will start a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
