About Me

I'm Matt Williams, an NSF postdoc in Applied Mathematics at Princeton University currently working with Prof. Yannis Kevrekidis in Chemical and Biological Engineering and Clarence Rowley in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.  I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, and received my B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California. After that, I did my Ph.D. work at the University of Washington in Seattle under the direction of Prof. J. Nathan Kutz in Applied Mathematics working on problems in nonlinear optics. (The data seems to indicate that I will move to colder and colder places as time passes).
