Short Bio

I received the diploma degree from the National Technical University of Athens (Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο), in Athens Greece and the PhD degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL), in Lausanne Switzerland.

I am a Swiss-National-Science-Foundation (SNSF) Fellow, and I currently hold a postdoctoral position at Princeton University.

My scientific interests are broad and include (but are not limited to) electrodynamics, optics, computational electromagnetics, acoustics and developing novel numerical and analytical methods to model wave phenomena and systems.

  • 06/06/2022: The presence of dispersion in time-modulated electromagnetic polarizabilities is investigated and analyzed in our recent article in the New Journal of Physics. This paper is the result of the collaboration of my alma mater EPFL with researchers from Aalto university (link).
  • 01/13/2022: My research article on the formulation of the coupled waves theory for time-periodic optical media has appeared in the Journal of the Optical Society of America B (link).
